ELIGIBILITY

Businesses must have generated US $500 or received US $1000 in investments at the time of application

Students must be enrolled for the current academic year in a university/college as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application*

Applicants must be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of company and principally responsible for its operation.

The age cap for participation is 30 years of age
Part-time enrollment is acceptable; *Graduate students are eligible to apply only if they have continually enrolled in a university following their undergraduate degree and not left school to work on their business or to seek other employment. Exceptions can be made for students who have taken up to 12 months break before beginning their postgraduate education.

You will be assigned a successful entrepreneur as a mentor to help you refine your presentation

On Jan 28, 2022, you will do a short presentation and Q&A in front of our panel of judges (also Entrepreneurs). Then you will have time to mingle with New Jersey’s preeminent entrepreneurs, your peers, and other business executives.

We announce the winners that day to you, the audience and the media

Our winner will compete in the US-East GSEA Competition (we pay your expenses).

The US-East winner will complete in the Global GSEA Competition among the world’s best student entrepreneurs.
At each step of the way you will meet successful entrepreneurs, top student entrepreneurs, and will build relationships that will last a lifetime.
